Database - Setup
To setup the database, select from the main Ribbon-Bar the "Options" drop-down menu "Database Setup"
The Database Setup Dialog appears.
The dialog shows the defined databases in a list.
The meaning of the columns are

Ident |
A freely selectable identifier |

Type |
The type (MySQL or SQLite) |
|
Active |
Yes if this is the active database |
|
Name |
The name of the database. This is the filename for SQLite databases. |
Add
Select to add a new database. See Add Database
Set Active
Sets the selected database entry in the list as the active database
Test
Tests the database connection
Backup
Creates a JSON backup file of the complete database
Restore
Restores the database from a JSON backup file
Delete
Deletes the selected database
